Welcome to the South Oakleigh College I.T. support site. IT@SOC stays ahead of the trend by playing an essential role in terms of support with a dedicated technical support team for onsite facilities. This service allows our belief of anytime, anywhere access to digital resources and support. South Oakleigh College students and staff have access to a large variety of applications accessible to use on both BYOD devices or college provided devices. Some example of applications include:
- Microsoft Office 365 (A range of applications including Word, Excel, Teams, Powerpoint)
- Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop and more)
- Compass Education (student management tool)
- ClickView (Access to several thousand videos, allowing teachers & students to access videos quickly anywhere, anytime).
Along with assisting students daily, we are also responsible for the school network infrastructure – maintaining server functionality, printing, wireless access points, forgotten login credentials and parent enquiries.
We are here to provide service when required and advice where needed to help support staff, students and parents.
IT Student support times
Drop off and pickup times are within the designated times: Before school (8:30am - 8:50am) Recess (10:38am - 11:00am) Lunchtime (12:38pm - 1:20pm) After school (3:10pm - 3:30pm) Students are encouraged to visit I.T tech office during these times for support from our onsite technicaians and to log warranty jobs.
